International Day of Yoga - June 21st, 2017
Performing yoga in my classroom for about 5 minutes every day allows my students to play, exercise and connect more
deeply with their inner self. Students derive enormous benefits from yoga as it enhances their physical flexibility, strength and body awareness. In addition,
yoga improves students’ concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation. We celebrated
the International Day of Yoga to promote a caring, healthy and equity classroom
environment.
